What Does The Ladybug Mean?
When Casey was born, Jason and I called her our ladybug. Sometimes a ladybug, sometimes a stinkbug and sometimes a snugglebug, but she was always “the bug”. The name stuck and was used by all, especially Aunt Shannon and Uncle G and her babysitter Megan Ramsey, even through to the present. Casey’s first birthday was ladybugs with her own ladybug cake. When Halloween came, of course she was a ladybug, and I dressed as one also.
Casey remained “the bug” to many although recently she had become my little pickle (for her love of them) and Caleb became my little pea.
Ladybugs are symbols of good luck so we knew we had to include one for our forever “the bug”.
Loveable Ladybug
By Megan Ramsey
The little girl who loved to dream, painted her life in shades of pink. With eyes wide open and a heart full of love, her smile could make any day brighter.
With every little laugh she captured everyone’s attention. With every beautiful song, she danced into our hearts.
Christmas cookies and pajamas games and playgrounds. She grew up so fast creating memory after memory.
Then one day they said she would be fine, in our prayers she remained. Within one day that seemed like mere seconds, we knew nothing would be the same.
Flying through the years, oh how the time passed by. She touched other’s lives with hers, showing us what really matters.
Photographs with stories, artwork and awards. We will forever cherish her legacy, telling everyone of our loveable ladybug.
